VFX Forth started from the user perspective. Where does the
information come from? In the main, it comes from C header
files.

Sure you can go through SWIG, but the required parser just isn't
that complicated. For a big hint, start with Brad Rodriguez BNF 
implementation, which is tiny, good, and not difficult to extend.

Brad's BNF parser can also be used to solve a wide range of
notational issues. It is often stated that Forth is a way of
writing new notations, so I am constantly amazed that tools
for writing notations are widely ignored.
