gForth should not require financial contributions ... IIRC it is GPL
and you just download it.

I don't think a port to Leopard is likely to be difficult. You've got
gForth running as a guest in Ubuntu. It's probably the i386 version.
Download the source from the gForth site and unpack it. There is a
build from scratch option that will bootstrap from a working gForth
and the source to a full install tuned to your hardware. Building
gForth requires gcc, make, and some other standard Linux tools that
probably already exist on both Ubuntu and Leopard.You might have to
configure gcc and the other utilities on the Ubuntu side as a cross-
development toolchain with a Leopard target, but it should be possible.
