Saturday April 12th we had a very interesting talk about the
usage of Forth to build a switched power supply. With very
few external components (mainly a FET and a choke) the micro
processor took up the chores of feedback to establish
a good on/off ratio and a reasonable working frequency.
(Code size 271 bytes). This is of course a cross compiling system
using the Byteforth of Willem Ouwerkerk.

It compares favourably, at least for DIY, to dedicated chips,
that are hard to come by in single quantities. It is very flexible.
