Just over a year ago when using the Gray parser generator I found the
Gray syntax too ***bersome so I wrote a EBNF to Gray converter i.e.
takes in a EBNF grammar [1], with embedded actions, and outputs a Gray
source file. This converter is itself a Gray application that takes in
its EBNF description to produce its own Gray source code. If anyone is
interested I can make it available.

[1] 2 small additions to EBNF, firstly each production has to end with
a semicolon, secondly the first production is assumed to be the root
and name of the grammar.
