Nah, its a flaw of spoken English syntax when giving lists with more
than one simple noun per item, which is why the written complex list
":" ";" notation was developed.
The only way I'm going to get this sorted out in my head is to devise
a set of 1's complement and signed-magnitude operators and test to see
what happens. ... ``1s:- 1s:U< 1s:. sm:- sm:U< sm:.'' etc. for one's
complement and signed magnitude values, and see what happens with the
definition.
