Nope, I'm not a member of a Forth community, though if Nicl works I
could hope to become a member of the tiny Volksforth community.

Indeed, the ease of "rolling your own Forth" relative to other
language, and the lack, for historical reasons, of a strong public
repository system, means that there are a number of Forthers who are
not actually in a Forth community, and there's a selection bias in clf
for that kind of Forther.

There are obviously several clusters of communities of Forth
programmers around the two main commercial Forth software houses,
there are various small FIG communities ... some of them have people
that pop up on clf, but I haven't noticed any communities that use clf
itself as their "town square".

I like clf because its a discussion group that includes Ms. Rather and
Stephen Pelc and Jonah and Bernd and Marcel and a large number of
people who say interesting things. But its just a hobby for me, and
one that I will set to one side for years at a stretch. And when I get
in the middle of a Forth project I do tend to blather on, so I would
not be surprised to find my name in more than a few killfiles.
