   I can't believe that after all this time nobody replied to
this question. If you check John's web page above, you can find
a GNU tar file of Laboratory Software Environment (LSE64),
published and ready to run, which is a Forth dialect inspired by
Jon Sachs' STOIC.

    I have yet to examine this on a system where it might run
(whatever that is). John Doty is so shy and modest that he will
not tell us much about it unless we drag the information out of
him. A very Forth way of doing things.

    Now I'll go back to try finding a discussion of Forth, Lisp
and garbage collection.
