Why should you take on the extra work of dealing with it though.
 
By having company standards on coding comments and do***entation you can
demand that they are adhered to. Putting the people through training on
the
subject of good coding and do***entation writing if necessary. It is in
management's perview to do such things and, if they are working for a
professional outfit, they should do these things and enforce good
standards
of professionalism in all their people.
