More like failing to accept that the earth is flat.

At one time "most people" accepted a flat earth as being obvious.
"Most people" were wrong. You don't arrive at truth by taking
an opinion poll. You arive at truth through evidence and logic.

"Obvious" is your code word for "I am unwilling / incapable of
presenting a logical argument, and so I insist that you accept
what I say as true by blind faith"

>Please leave the argument in place. To snip here is evasion.

Liar. The evasion consists of you continuing to assert the
same argument containing the same bad logic while refusing to
even attempt to examine and justify the underlying logic.

It's an old debating trick, engaging in bad logic and then
insisting on focusing only on the conclusion, not the logic
that supposedly led to the conclusion.

Show me some reason that is better than "John Doty says so"
or "it as obvious" for your nutter ideas about what can and
cannot be concluded from a lack of published software and I
will be happy to examine your conclusions. Not before.
