A newbie project merging Forth with Objective-C

by "Erik" <groups@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 11, 2007 at 10:23 PM

Hi all,

I'm not sure if anyone is interested, but I created some bridge code
between John Sadler's FICL interpreter (ficl.sourceforge.net) and Mac
OS X's Objective-C runtime. It was meant to be a sort of marriage
between Forth and OpenStep systems, but Mac OS X and GNUStep have
slightly different APIs and I haven't gotten around to GNUStep yet.

In case anyone is interested, you can download a compressed archive at:
http://www.customvisualdesigns.com/Downloads/ospreyforth.tgz

It contains an XCode project and some docs. I'm a graphic designer by
trade, not a programmer, so hopefuly I put everything together
properly.

Being a newbie to programming, I don't expect this to be a
production-ready project, but it may be useful for reference or general
interest.

Much thanks,
Erik
