don't know what you do exactly, but have you included the coreaudio
framework?

lacking CoreAudio.framework framework CoreAudio.framework

\ selecting
CoreAudio.framework

\  im****ting audiohardware.h functions and constants
3 machofunc _AudioHardwareGetProperty

etc.etc.
