It's frustrating that Jobs plays the cards so close to his chest,
although I do understand why.  I hope this spurs the creation of a lot
of great products; otherwise the Mac may be seen as just another PC.

What I'm worried about is the nightmare it's going to be to switch Mops
to an Intel architecture.  Doesn't the Pentium series have fewer
registers than the PowerPC?  Isn't x86 assembly supposed to be a mess?

On the other hand, this would be a good time to move Mops to a Mach-O
native format.  I can't recall the link, but I remember a blog
somewhere where a developer was griping that Mach-O was a format
optimized for the x86 architecture, not PPC.
