You have to learn that it must be wisely used and try to avoid mutex
and semaphores, i have a builtin message passing system which is much
easier to handle and i try to use MT only in problems where the amount
of shared data is very very low.

At the moment i can't see too much problems. And my great hope for the
future in computing is that we have a CPU architecture that permits
penality free thread creation/joining so that you can use explicit
multithreads even for routines that are only 10-100 instructions long.
At least i hope i can see this before i retire in 25 years.

But you are right, one of the ideas to make the broken generated C
code compilable with Sun Studio and other tools is for example with
LintLock (and some of the nice performance tuning features of Sun
Studio/Sparc architecture).
