I am an outsider, in the sense that I am very happy with Common Lisp and
CLOS and will probably not switch to Dylan for my own uses. However, I
have the need to present my ideas / code to a wider audience, and I see
Dylan as a potential candidate for presenting things in a more
accessible way. For that reason, it would be nice to have an environment
to work with Dylan.
On top of that, I am on Mac OS X. Last time I checked, I haven't found a
Dylan implementation for the Mac, and also no development environment.
For the latter, a good emacs mode would be sufficient because Aquamacs
works pretty well on Macs. The first, of course, would be indispensable.
(I am still on PowerPC, but sooner or later, IntelMacs are the way to go.)
Any recommendations here?
Thanks in advance,
Pascal
