Also, I tried this option again as:
1-----7A---B--------------
      $set dialect(entcobol)
      $SET CURRENCY-SIGN"157"

And I got:
     1$ set dialect(entcobol)
*  53-S*********************
**    Invalid directive, or directive not allowed here
* Checking terminated

When I commented the first line, the program compiled successfully.

Remember that my compiler is:
Microsoft (R) COBOL Optimizing Compiler Version 5.0
COBOL software by Micro Focus
Copyright (C) Microsoft Cor****ation 1984,1993.  All rights reserved.
Copyright (C) Micro Focus Ltd. 1984,1993.  All rights reserved.

In this situation, is there any other directive or command to force me
to write my code as Ent.Cobol?
