Hello,
I am unable to compile any Cobol ASP.NET applications in the Net
Express University Edition.
It is apparently installed OK, and I have managed to get Cobol .Net
windows applications to compile and run.
However, the system will not compile .net web form apps in Cobol.
VB .Net and C# web forms work OK.
When trying to compile even the skeleton application I get to errors
below.
Can anyone help? I have tried the Microfocus sup****t board and have
received no answer after several months.
This is my first posting to this group. I am a professional programmer
(among other things) and I am learning Cobol for fun. I have been
studying older versions of the language as well as the latest object
oriented Cobol .Net. Frankly I think the object oriented version of
the language is both fascinating a bit bonkers. The idea of writing
web applications in Cobol is very appealing (just so I can say I've
done it) so I would very much like to fix this error.
