I guess Pete is converting (or processing) a UNIX-based Cobol platform
using a C-ISAM file or maybe a MySQL data into a Windows-based Fujitsu
Cobol (using MS/SQL server).

This is sometimes done if you have VMWare running on UNIX emulating a
Windows-based platform.... once converted in Windows, then it can be
'totally' be used in Windows OS.

This is quite a very good example of rightsizing. Nice thoughts here.
