Just in case anyone else was wondering, the "spam" that claimed that it
related
to
comp.lang.cobol charter
and was sent by a "moderator"
seems to have been sent to all the comp.lang newsgroups.
I didn't try and see what it was really doing (other than asking for
contributions), but did think that in case anyone might have been tempted
to
look further, you should know it appears to have been "generated".
