Isaac Newton (neither Jewish nor an Arab) declared that if he saw
further than others it is because he stood on the shoulders of giants.

Essentially, his work was built upon the foundations laid by his
predecessors. Those predecessors include pagan Greeks, pagan Hindus
and muslim Arab mathematicians. The western world owes the muslim
world a lot. We were ignorant and had denied science in favour of a
creationist nonsense at a time when they had universities and were
extending the boundaries of mathematics and astronomy (amongst other
sciences).
