Google "compatibility mode" for more information, or search the Microsoft 
Knowledge Base. The same facility exists in Windows 2000 SP2 -- it's been 
several years since I used Win2K so I'm going from a possibly-faulty
memory 
here, but I'm pretty sure it works the same way as it does in XP:
right-click 
on any executable, then select Properties, and click the Compatibility
tab.
