Rod da Silva is one of the cleverest people I know and I have used his
VOCOM product for Windows for more years than I care to remember.
However, for anyone who is looking to move from Clipper I would really
recommend taking a look at Vulcan. It has been developed from the
ground up to be compatible with Visual Objects (CA's successor product
for Clipper). It is authored by an excellent team led by Don Caton
who will be familiar to older Clipper heads.
Download a trial version at http://www.GoVulcan.NET
Meanwhile if anyone is in the area of London's Heathrow Air****t
tomorrow (Thursday 15th May) evening come over to the Crowne PLaza
Hotel at 7 for 7:30pm where the London & SE England VO/Vulcan Users
Group will be holding its next quarterly meeting.
If you want to come to a meeting just email me at the address
above ... removing the obvious bits!
