You know, my shoes are entirely too big for us to keep meeting 
like this!  No more room in my mouth...  ;>)  Sorry, I am not 
trying to spread disinformation...

The free version of CutePDF will not, but the "Custom" version 
(for $300) will allow collecting the default file name from a 
registry key... it appears that I got my print job to the driver 
(mapping LPT1 to the Share name of the "printer"), but it errored 
out because the dialog box cannot display when triggered through 
a DOS box.  It did not matter whether the Clipper app was running 
full screen or windowed... so I think that is the only hurdle.

$300 is a lot to pay for something that might not work.

Looks like DOSprint might do it...

.... it says it will output a PDF.  Print to alternate, and Run() 
DOSprint with command line switches.
