Dick,

Just re-installed VS 2005 pro... long, very long (all languages) but
perfect.
Where is the nightmare?
I am in Vista Business 64 on Intel mobo DualCore 2.40x2 --- and VS zings
NO Vulcan now.
I dont know OEM version, and i gave up with Express edition.
IMO, pro tools for my work, free tools for my hobbies.
When I will install Vulcan demo (Chris VIDE will be the "life extender" of

my VO projects) I will see what happens in VS.
PS
VS is "happy" with an active internet connection...

cheers

Massimo
