This is selective argument shopping, isn't it.
Both MS and Borland communicated a clear strategy towards .NET  They did
not 
and do not leave any room for the idea those products are being
maintained. 
Grafx continued to say half the VOPS resources are spend on VO
development. 
If this would be true, you would still get a lot of moneyt from Bryan, 
wouldn't you.

And there are many many many other aspects where the comparising with 
Microsoft or Borland with  Grafx is not in the benefit of Grafx.
