Hey guys, (Erik, Alessandro, Johan, Stephen, Phil, Geoff) I appreciate
your replys and suggestions. I am going to try them all for my own
experience. The customers in question are Government Education
departments in different states in Australia, and their respective
protocols are legacies of bygone times and as such, are unlikely to
change or ever need to use another type.
Once the DLL is distributed and operational, the EXE can be updated
and distributed to all areas without need to redistribute the DLL. The
methods in the DLL won't change, and therefore that part should remain
static. Yeah, I know, never say won't (or if you like "never say
never")
Anyway, thanks so much for you help - I'll let you know how I go.
Regards
Tony
