OT - Application problems

Recently if I load several applications (not neccessarily VO) the
programs start acting up. They stop responding. Even if I try to load
Task Manger it seems like it starts but nver loads. If I shut down an
application or two. I can get other programs to load.

I am running XP SP2 with 2GB of memory. I know this sounds like a
virus, but we ran SpyBot and VirusScan our virus program, reloaded
SP2, but nothing has helped.


I was just wondering if anyone experienced anything similar?
