It the Vista computer 32 bit Vista or 64 bit Vista? - If 64 bit Vista, you
can't run the Clarion 6.x IDE, and you'll need to use Virtual Machine
software like:
Product Description - VMware Workstation, MFG - VMware
Internet Link - http://www.vmware.com/products/ws/
Vista 64 bit as host, and XP as guest OS.
