Skipping out of EIP if any other control outside the scope of the EIP

by ozejohn <john@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 19, 2008 at 10:24 PM

Hi,

My understanding is EIP is like an accept loop for a row inside the
accept loop for the browse. What I need to do is break out of the EIP
accept loop and move the cursor to another part of the window if any
other control is pressed outside the scope of the eip.

I need an EIP interface that works more like a spreadsheet. The user
wants to be part way through editing a column on a row then click the
mouse on another row or press page down etc. and have that action
applied immediately. Instead of having to finish the current eip field
before interacting with other controls on the window.

Does anyone know of a way I can do this?

All The Best
John Nairn
