Single RJ-45 with two NICs?

by your name <nospam@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 21, 2008 at 03:03 PM

Hello,

When you look at a cat5e cable, it seems to have 4 pairs of twisted
cable inside. Does that mean that a 100 Mbps NIC will use all 4 pairs of
twisted cable or only 2-pairs? If it's only 2, then can I use the other
2 pairs to run another NIC? If so, how?

Thanks.
