Like I told you before, it's because SIGSEGV cannot be "caught".  I.e. 
your signal handler will be invoked the first time, but as soon as you 
return from it, you're in never-never-land.

In more technical terms, returning from a registered handler for SIGSEGV 
invokes undefined behaviour (C99 7.14.1.1 p3)
