The return values of fn1() and fn2() have nothing to do with any 
implicit return. Even without the use of the implicit int return type I 
think that Standard C used to require an explicit return statement for 
all functions that did not have a void return type (which has never been 
allowed for main())

Note implicit int is no longer sup****ted in Standard C.
