about C++ books

by d major <jinggcc@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 7, 2008 at 06:25 AM

Recently, I want to buy a new book of C++ for improving my C++
knowledges.
I have been read <<The C++ Programming Language>> and <<C++ Primer>>
but both of are unfinished because they are too large.
Can somebody recommend me some good books about C++ which don't too
large and easy too read?
I heared that <<effective C++>> is not bad, what you think about?
