Development Engineer (SDE)

(SDE) The Opportunity: Hands-on position that will include design and
development in OOP, C++ and STL. You will have the opportunity to
influence the product direction of the technology platform and to
interact directly with your customers. It is likely you will work on
multiple projects to build, enhance, maintain and support the
e-commerce websites. This may range from a complete rebuild of a site
to simply enhancing an existing site. Many features/modules may be
enhanced or developed in any one project. Requirements: 5 years of
technical expertise designing and writing quality code in C++ and STL
on Unix/Linux platforms experience is a given. Experience building
high-performance, reliable systems in a multi-tiered distributed
environment along with expertise with high-end transaction systems and
relational databases is a must. Your development experience focused on
web applications using technologies such as Perl and Java is a strong
plus. The above skills and experience are backed up by a strong
computer science background; with a bachelors' degree a minimum
requirement. Higher education is an advantage. Candidates willing to

(TPM) The Opportunity: Responsible for leading the design and
development of custom, value-added features for large Merchant
accounts. Driving the process you will have the opportunity to work
with C-level executives at the world's largest retailing brands to
influence the product direction of the core technology platform. In
this hands-on technical role expect to be involved gathering and
producing technical specifications and to partner closely with
development teams to analyze and review code to produce quality
results. Requirements: You will have experience architecting and
implementing large scale system integrations backed up by at 3-5 years
experience as a software developer or technical lead. The ability to
build and maintain exceptional customer relationship is critical. You
will have the ability to discover the true requirements underlying
feature requests and gain consensus on technical decisions.
Application of industry knowledge to recommend alternative technical
and business approaches is expected. You have demonstrated success
leading engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines. Experience
coaching and mentoring development team members is key along with
ensuring appropriate software engineering practices are employed to
deliver high quality results. The above skills and experience are
backed up by a strong computer science background; with a bachelors'
degree a minimum requirement. Higher education is an advantage.
