If you can use an LDEF in any other Carbon app, then yes.  (I'm not at 
all sure that LDEFs are Carbon compatible -- that's an ancient classic 
MacOS thing.)

My confidence here is based on the simple fact that when you get down to 
it, REALbasic is a compiled language, just like C/C++.  If you can do 
something in one of them, you can do it in RB as well, though it may 
require a bunch of declares (just as in C/C++ you'd be including header 
files and linking against some other library).
