Hello,
I have made a tool for accessing and syncronize twoo databases: a mysql
and a oracle server. The problem is this:
All nigths the admin shoots down the oracle server for backup. If my
tool lost the connection it makes close the database, waiting one minute
and try open the database.
But this f...ing local oracle client creates everytimes a new session
and does not kill the unsuccessful (why not answered) sessions ...
I can see in the oracle admin tool many many dead sessions from my tool.
The dead sessions are cleaned, if my tool terminate, but that can not be
the way, or what ... ?
What can I do? (Win, RB 5.5.5, oracle plugin from october 2006)
