That isn't true.  I, for one, very much want to see this issue 
resolved.  The ongoing behavior of PowerBASIC, Inc. is a direct
threat to my livelihood.  Because of it, I am faced with two 
bad choices: 

Choice one: Continue to depend on PowerBASIC products to do 
my job.

Choice one advantages: Again and again I have proved that I 
can complete the development of an application in a fraction 
of the time it takes the other developers where I work, all 
of whom use Microsoft .NET.  Again and again I have shown 
that the applications I write in PowerBASIC are faster, 
smaller, use less memory, and have fewer bugs.
  
Choice one disadvantages: I keep up with new releases (unlike 
Microsoft, PowerBASIC new versions are improvements) and every
so often need help from PowerBASIC Sup****t or the PowerBASIC 
Forums.  I have zero assurance that I will not be arbitrarily
cut off from these resources without warning. 

Choice two: Switch over to some other flavor of BASIC.
FreeBASIC, perhaps.

Choice two advantages: I will be safe from being punished for
daring to criticize the new flavor of BASIC, and I will be 
safe from the risk of Bob Zale or his employees making false 
accusations that could ruin my reputation.

Choice two disadvantages: There is a good chance that the .NET 
programmers will start wiping the floor with me, my hand-built
collection of subroutines and functions will need to be ****ted,
and I will have to relearn a bunch of stuff.

I would really like there to be a third choice, which would be 
for someone from PowerBASIC Inc. to give me assurance that
if they get pissed of at me they will give me a warning so 
that I can stop doing whatever it was that pissed them off.
But they won't make that promise.

to your own words admitting ignorance:

  "I cannot comment on those things because I wasn't there 
   at the time to witness them, and I haven't seen all of

As was pointed out to you, the things that you claim to have
not witnessed all happened right here in this newsgroup.  All
you have to do to witness them is to read the posts.  You will
see PowerBASIC employees accusing Frank Cox of email flooding,
using abusive language, and telling lies about PowerBASIC and
Linux.  Read the posts in this thread and you will see my post 
showing that what he wrote about PowerBASIC and Linux was 
the truth, and you will see PowerBASIC refusing to provide 
any evidence to back up the other false accusations.  So yes, 
you are ignorant -- willfully so.

You admitted being ignorant, so the only question is whether you
are careless.

The above shows that you are indeed careless.  You have *ZERO* 
evidence that this is a case of miscommunication, and you are 
ignoring abundant evidence that it is not.  That's carelessness.

That's probably a wise decision on your part.  I also note that all
of the PowerBASIC employees have also disappeared rather than provide 
the requested evidence to back up their accusations.  Bob Zale knows
that they are in the wrong, but he refuses to stand up like a man and
admit that he was wrong.
