Hmmm, so it is all down to T. H. O'Beirne? A quick check of
year 4200 using both the Gauss and Oudin methods gives us:
Gauss' method: 4200-04-20
Oudin's method: 4200-04-20

The algorithm is fully described in "Haandbog I Kronologi"
by Prof. J.Fr. Schroeter, University of Oslo, Cammermeyers
Boghandel, 1926 -- a work which is fundamentally based upon
"Handbuch der Mathematischen und Technischen Chronologie"
by F.K. Ginzel. What more can I say? :)
