I have been for most of the past two years. Believe it or not, it's
semi-voluntary, and involves my brother's baby needing essentially a
full-time nanny, i.e. me.

Usenet still uses them, although you don't have to specify it any more 
(in fact, Xnews provides no way to do so that I can see).

It's fun. I originally got it so I could make sure that my programs 
worked in BeOS, and I've kept it and dinked around it since then. One 
of these days, when my finances aren't so tight, I'll probably get 
around to buying whatever modern BeOS-alike is popular. (Probably 
somewhere around 2013.)
