I wouldn't either... except that where I spend my days, it's AOL or 
nothing... and I have no internet at home.

Sounds right, but this connection is so slow that it's not really 
worth it to run the test.

Art site. When I first joined (not using this nym), it was fairly fast 
and pretty simple -- now it's bloated and complex. (Opening one page 
requires downloading a number of files -- not including graphics -- 
and can take up to a minute on my connection.)

I have financial issues that prevent me from doing so -- and I like to 
use the latest "stable" 2.4 kernel available. (Can't use 2.6 due to 
severe weirdness with X on my system, the nature of which I don't know 
how to track down. Works fine on the command line though.)
