Oh, if only, if only!  One of the reasons (apart from prejudice) that
I'm so convinced that BBC BASIC is 'better' than Liberty Basic is the
number of occasions when problems are posed on the LB group which I
know how to solve in BBC BASIC but aren't - as far as I know -
possible to solve in Liberty Basic (without the complication of third-
party DLLs for example).

There's one there at this very moment - how to print in landscape
orientation.  Pretty fundamental you might think, and the BBC BASIC
manual tells you exactly how to do it, but I don't know any way of
doing it in LB.
