I thought BAL was assembler D or maybe E.  I never used anything
below F, and it was a long time before I even heard of BAL.

Someone did have TOS/360 running on Hercules a few years ago.
It required fixing some bugs in the Hercules READ BACKWARDS
sup****t, as it seems that TOS/360 did a lot of that.
