site? That is a wonderful site. Those who made it possible are
greatly appreciated!
A local restaurant has a traditional NCR cash registers, circa 1970.
Ironically, they only ring up the final total, they add up the checks
by hand or by a simple calculator; I don't know why they don't use the
register to add. A few years ago I saw another restaurant, with a big
silver NCR register, do the same thing.
What is amazing that the cost of a modern digital cash register is but
a fraction of the old NCR cost.
