The Mod 22 was basically a mod 30, with tighter storage constraints, but 
at a real good price point.  I think the 3rd part storage vendors could 
easily beat the storage limit.  The mod 22 was very, very late in the 
/360 sequence; I think it was a way to get returned mod 30s out on the 
street for a couple of years.

CVD and CVB are - almost by definition - very slow instructions, even
today.
