Yup! I remember doing that with TASM. I took out the chip of a Canon
fax machine, decompiled the code, bought another chip and re-
programmed it. I needed to turn the fax into a motorized scanner for
35 metre Oil-well log reading. Worked fabulously! Ah! - the good old
hacking days..
