Re: STATPACK

Hello everybody, hello Dick,
Here is some history information that may partially reply to your question

I have looked into some of my personal APL archives.
I have found the following :
- 8 WSs by the name of STPn (n=1 to 8) dot AIO timestamp 1989-12-07
- 25 WSs by the name of STAT00 to 22, 04A, 07A dot AIO timestamp
1987-10-04 including a STATINDX.AIO (The .AIO was the first PCs (1985?)
equivalent of the .ATF format)
I have found nothing in 40 or so WSs so far : May be the APL LESSONS WSs
in nearly 50 modules dated by same period.
Both STPnn and STATnn above were included in a package by the name of
STATPACK.
(ASL does not echo anything in my memory so far.)

These have been developped in IBM by (probably) Rick Magram and Jack
Prins to run by APLPC under DOS 1.1+ (in less than 192 KB RAM in total)
in the second half of the 80's
These were availed by Dick Dunbar for VSAPL and APL2 in the late 80's
and by John Mizel and Jack Prinz for RISC/6000 and PS/2 in the early 90's

Also, please don't ask me to swear that the above information is all
100% accurate : no way !

I have those WSs because I was authorized to use them at that time,
including at home ....
And last but not least, I have no idea on what it the legal situation
for those WSs : if somebody knows, I will greatly appreciate to know
about.

Regards, Gilbert
