Should the message to the mainstream software industry not be "I know
APL; and that gives me a unique advantage not least because I know
(some of) this "other" stuff too."  rather than "I know APL; and that
makes me better than you not least because anything you can do I can
do in APL as well."?

Isn't it naive to believe that there is a conspiracy against APL when
all indications are that APL chooses to be a loose cannon on the deck
rather than a team player?

APL is empowered, thanks to the vendors, to play by the same industry
rules as the likes of C# etc abide by implicitly, at least
theoretically.

Where is "Its my ball (language) and I won't come out to play" getting
APL?
