It's a good essay, and especially appropriate for a relatively young
person.   When I was single, I did work productively for more than 12
hours at a stretch.   When I was married and worked nights, I could
still get in 6 uninterrupted hours regularly.

But not any more; now I work days.   Even though I blow off meetings,
I still can't get in more than 2 or 3 hours straight.  It's probably
for the best, since my legs now need stretching more often than
previously.
