OK, well let me try ;-)
1. 12 hrs. - agree - sometimes 14 hrs.
2. small groups - yes - one APLer !
3. continually rewriting - obvious in APL
I personally prefer 14 hrs., since it takes 30 minutes to warm up, and
once you've got the system-picture ( 4000 variables and functions ) in
your head, you are loath to stop !
