Collaboration (not "collar-boration") means something accomplished by
two or more individuals working  together.

Probably the classic example of Internet collaboration is Wikipedia.
See the Wikipedia article on APL, for example.  Followed closely by
things like YouTube, where you can submit videos.  There is an APL

Linux, it has been said, was produced by a collaborative effort of a
large numbers of individuals.  Linus Torvalds wrote the insides, while
others inside the community wrote or contributed other things,
language compilers, utilities, games, whatever, which make up a more
complete operating system.
