High level assembler language ???? may be better than that !
Some more than 20 years ago, I have used APL WSs to program Fairchild
F8, Motorola 6502, and also 8080, 8048, 6800 processors in HOBBY
activities using for each its APL workspace that took the program and
generated the ad hoc binary after some verification .... It worked very
conveniently.
Well, let me clarify I was not the author of the said workspaces !
